Investment Directorate is part of the Resources and Management Group.
Investment Directorate manages the planning, management and control of the capital investment and asset management programmes. This includes planning and making budget allocations to new and existing investment projects to meet strategic objectives set by the Department. It consists of three units:
- Programme management unit – focused on development of the future capital programme by commissioning, considering and approving business cases and ongoing project governance;
- Capital Resources and Patient Environment – responsible for management of the capital budget, allocations to ALBs and, policy lead for a range of patient environment polices; and,
- Asset and Estate Management Unit – leading on effective management of the Department’s assets including: preparing a Departmental Property Asset management plan and annual State of the Estate report and supporting the Executive’s wider Asset Management Strategy.
