fire safety strategy.

and strategic support in respect of the management of the HPSS estate including land and property transactions,
strategic asset management, estate investment planning and asset maintenance.
Policy Advice and Briefing
Policy
advice and briefing on estate and equipment management matters.
Estates Professional Support
Establishment
of estate-related objectives and priorities for the delivery of Health and Social Services Care.
Technical Environment Policy and Monitoring
Policy
and strategic support on environmental and energy matters (GREENCODE) including representation on the
Environment Forum and Inter-Departmental Committees.
Land and Property Transactions
The
provision of a total client service from preliminary consideration to final settlement on land and property
transactions, including leases, tenancies, sales, purchases etc.
Health Technical Memorandum Policy
Research
and preparation of guidance on specific technology involved in the delivery of Health and Social Services
Care.
Capital Procurement Policy
Development
and maintenance of contracts policy documentation and procedures (CONCODE) (Capital Investment Manual)
for capital projects.
Estates Performance
The
collection, recording, analysis and promulgation of capital projects and estates information.
Medical Equipment
Policy
and strategic support on medical equipment including diagnostic imaging and laboratory equipment.
Telecommunications
Policy
and strategic support in respect of health care telecommunications and radio communications.
Estate Standards
The
development and issue of estate standards and guidance.
Sustainable Development
Provide strategic policy support on Sustainable Development issues relevant
to the HPSS estate. Including advice on general Sustainable Development principles and specific advice
on General Waste, Hazardous Waste, Energy, Water, Transport, Biodiversity, Environmental Reporting Systems
and compliance with Controls Assurance Standards on Fleet and Transport management, Environmental management
and Waste management.
