NHS Retirement Fellowship (NI)

The Fellowship, which is a registered Charity, started in Northern Ireland in 1982 and is part of the national organisation covering the whole of the United Kingdom.
There are 15 Branches throughout the province with about 1840 members.
The main purpose of the Fellowship is:
  • to look after the interests and welfare of all retired, or about to retire, Health and Personal Social Services staff in Northern Ireland.
  • to provide a forum where old friendships might be renewed and new ones formed.
  • to provide, through the Branches, social and cultural activities – guest speakers, day trips, holidays etc.
  • to help members, who may be in some financial difficulties, by means of a centrally operated Benevolent Fund.
The subscription is £5.40 per annum which may be deducted at 45p per month from your HPSS Superannuation payment or paid in a single annual payment.
