Allied Health Professions

To ensure that the skills and expertise of the Allied Health Professions are fully recognised and appropriately used at all levels within the DHSSPS, to promote the health and social wellbeing of people in Northern Ireland.

Membership is open to each of the professions currently regulated by the Health Professions Council ie Arts Therapies, Biomedical Scientists, Clinical Scientists, Nutrition & Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Orthoptists, Orthotists and Prosthetists, Paramedics, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography and Radiotherapy and Speech & Language Therapy.

Members are nominated through the relevant Regional Professional Organisation.
