Emergency Medical Assistance and Rescue Team

The formation of an Emergency Medical Assistance & Rescue Team (EMART) would allow medical, ambulance and fire personnel to train together and provide a combined response to major incidents.  

The ability to translate DHSSPS emergency plans into effective action is the ultimate goal. EMART will be an important tool by which this may be delivered. The plans are the ‘software’. EMART is the ‘hardware’.
