What does good nutritional care look like?

Staff at Lancashire Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust have streamlined the use of total parenteral nutrition (TPN), making significant cost savings and improved care for this vulnerable group of patients. Multi-disciplinary daily ward rounds including a nurse, pharmacist and dietitian ensure patients get the most appropriate artificial feeding devices and full support to meet their nutritional requirements 32.
