Using the Artwork and Logos

Intellectual Property (IP)
The cleanyourhands campaign document and reports content, supporting materials and resources – including the logo and associated brand marks, and all posters, leaflets and other materials – are the registered and legally protected intellectual property (IP) of the National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA).
No part of the IP may be used without permission.

If you are a HSC organisation
HSC Trusts which are official implementing partners of the cleanyourhands campaign may be given permission to use parts of the intellectual property, including the logo, to promote hand hygiene locally. This could include reproducing a poster or using the logo in Trusts’ newsletters, or intranets producing a banner or other promotional materials.
HSC trusts should use the electronic application formLink to an external website to apply for permission. You will also need to send a pre-publication/production version or link to a draft of the material in which your wish to use the log/content. If permission is granted you will be sent formal confirmation by email. You will be required to send a copy of the final produced material for record purposes. You will need to apply each time you wish to use the IP for a new purpose.

If you are another public sector (non-HSC) or a private organisation
Non HSC organisations and individuals wishing to reference the campaign’s content or use any part of the IP should write to the address listed on the cleanyourhands Contact Us page or email us for permission clearly detailing the purpose and audience and how you wish to use the IP. We will respond to you by email.
