Health Promotion - Sexual Health
Sexual health is an essential part of overall health and well-being. The DHSSPS is committed to the promotion of positive sexual health and has identified sexual health as an area to be addressed under ‘Investing for Health’. The DHSSPS approach to Teenage Pregnancy and Parenthood is outlined in the recent Strategy Document (below). Development of a comprehensive sexual health strategy will commence in March 2003.
