Guidelines and Audit Implementation Network - GAIN

The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety is the sponsor department for the Guidelines and Audit Implementation Network (GAIN). GAIN’s website is www.gain-ni.org

GAIN was established in August 2007 when the Clinical Resource Efficiency Support Team (CREST), Regional Multiprofessional Audit Group (RMAG), and the Northern Ireland Regional Audit Advisory Committee (NIRAAC) amalgamated to form a new single entity known as the Guidelines and Audit Implementation Network (GAIN).

GAIN will have an important safety and quality improvement role in Health & Social Care Services throughout Northern Ireland through the commissioning of regional guidelines and audits as well as the promotion of good practice through the dissemination of audit results, and the publication and facilitation of implementation of regional guidelines.
