Shipman Enquiry
The Shipman Enquiry provided the backdrop to the development of a series of recommendations to improve patient safety in Northern Ireland.
The DHSSPS report entitled "Improving Patient Safety - Building Public Confidence" contains an Action Plan designed to take forward a number of proposals to improve quality of care and patient safety.
