Service Frameworks
Service Frameworks are an important element in a standards driven system for improving the way that health and social care is planned, commissioned and delivered in Northern Ireland. Frameworks are being developed for key areas of health and social care They will set out, at high level, the type of service that patients and users should expect, and will specify Northern Ireland standards and supporting actions - linked to recognised good practice guidance. Frameworks will promote and secure better integration of service delivery along the whole pathway of care from prevention of disease/ill health to diagnosis/treatment and rehabilitation, and on to end of life care.
