Direct Payments
Information on direct payments is collected using the quarterly return
CC8. This return monitors the number of direct payments and the amount of payment for domiciliary care
packages and other activities in effect at the end of the quarter.
Information is presented on the number of direct payments
and the amount of payment by quarter for each Health & Social Care Trust in
Northern Ireland. Information can be downloaded for the quarter ending 31st December 2007
using the list of headings below. Information refers to direct payments paid during the quarter, including
one-off payments, payments which ceased during the quarter, and payments in effect on the last day of
the quarter. Information up to and including 31 March 2007 referred to direct payments in effect on
the last day of the quarter only.
