Guidelines and Audit Implementation Network (GAIN)
In August 2007 the Regional Multiprofessional Audit Group (RMAG), Northern
Ireland Audit Advisory Committee (NIRAAC) and the Clinical Resources Support Team (CREST) became the
Guidelines and Audit Implementation Network (GAIN). It will keep regional guidelines and audit in the
forefront of service improvement.
GAIN will manage
and promote leadership in the safety and quality of care, to improve outcomes for patients, clients
and carers. GAIN’s work plan and strategy will complement and support other safety and quality initiatives
that are now in place.
