Social Services Inspectorate
Reports
All our inspection reports are published. Our reports are aimed at three
audiences:
- the public which uses and finances the service;
- the Board members, Health and Social Services Trust members and other bodies with responsibility for the service provided;
- the professional or other service managers.
Clear
statements are made in the reports on what is good about the service being inspected and what needs
to be improved.
The published reports when issued are sent to the Chief Executives of
Health and Social Services Boards, Trusts and other management bodies for distribution to members of
Boards and staff of the various agencies. We provide summaries of our reports which are written primarily
for the public, users and carers. These summaries are also distributed to the Boards, Trusts and voluntary
organisations with an interest in the inspection and from these sources the public, users and carers
may obtain a report. You can get copies of the reports directly from the Social Services Inspectorate
at telephone number (02890) 520708.
